The TDKR prologue premiered before Mission Impossible 4 in theaters. Here’s a theater (not HD) copy of it. Its hard to understand Bane in this copy but if this is just the prologue, this movie trilogy is gonna end on a high note, ala Return of the Jedi style.

With the Dark Knight Rises about a year away from hitting theaters, the viral campaign for DKR is in full steam now. The official site is up and through the site, fans were put on an internet hunt from audio from the site to eventually a twitter site that when followed, gave you the image above. Pretty brilliant.
I am very excited for the Bane storyline. Unlike, the Batman & Robin version, Nolan’s Bane will be a thoughtful and physical villain to Batman. I can see the storyline playing out where Catwoman is less villain and more vigilante, helping fight crime while Batman is in hiding for the Two-Face murders. Bane’s comic book storyline with the League of Shadows could play out really well with Bane having similar training and fighting styles to Batman. Let’s see what happens!

This may have been out for awhile (not sure) but I was very excited to get this. Its a photocopied version of The Dark Knight script. Even if you have seen it twice on IMAX (like yours truly), this is a dope reading. Our love for TDK continues..
My boy Phil let me know that there were some really cool sketches of the Joker and Batman from the early stages of planning for the Dark Knight. All the sketches are from famous artist, Bill Sienkiewicz. More pics after the jump. Have fun to all the homies going to Comic-Con this weekend!
Medicom is selling a limited edition twin packs of the Dark Knight. I am sure they are going to sell out soon but if anyone is reading this, my birthday is coming up soon and this would not be a bad gift. The Bay Area homies at IS had the info. Speaking of info, MTV reports that the Joker may “kinda” show up in the Green Arrow movie. I think they are just riding the hype. The Batman Twin Pack version is after the jump.
This weekend was pretty much dedicated to the celebration of The Dark Knight. Saw the midnight showing on Thursday and then another midnight showing on an IMAX Screen on Friday. I strongly recommend to watch it on IMAX and if you can afford it, watch it a second time. You will pick up stuff you missed the first time. I was happy to hear DK beat Spiderman 3 as the Biggest Opening Weekend EVER and was very excited to see that the IMAX screening had the Watchmen trailer. (The crowd went wild…) Anyways, I spent my afternoon buying The Watchmen, Arkham Asylum, and Marvel’s Civil War comic books because I was so inspired. Comic Movie nerds unite! Thanks NWS for the video.

So, I just bought my 2nd pair of tickets and plan on watching a midnight showing of The Dark Knight on Thursday AND Friday next week – IMAX on the latter date. I will also go on record to say that I believe that The Dark Knight will oust Spider Man 3 out of the #1 spot for the Biggest Weekend Opening EVER like an old itchy asshole. $152 milli is my call – take that, Phil. To help with the hype, the MTV movie nerds are doing the 12 Days of Knight. Basically, its a pretty cool write-up on the movie for every day till the movie opens. Check mtv.com for all of them. If you missed the first 4, here they are:
