Aloe Blacc – Need A Dollar (video)

Respect due to Sake and the PST crew, I give you Aloe Blacc’s video of “Need A Dollar”. Shot live from one of LA’s best parties, The Do Over. Sake 1 on the decks. Cameos of a lot of dope DJs as well. Love the song and I think the vid fits the vibe. Props to Adidas for the footage. Speaking of Adidas, the Boba Fetts dropped today.

Star Wars X ADIDAS – Cantina Scene

Adidas scores with this remake of the Cantina scene from “A New Hope”. All the cameos make it worth your while to watch till the end. Good job to the edits and effects team on this one. Also for all my fellow nerds, at E3 they announced the trailers for the The Old Republic and Force Unleashed 2 video games.

DJ Neil Armstrong – Day in the Life (Mini-Doc)

One of my fav DJs, Neil Armstrong, was followed by NeonGorilla for 24 hours to catch him while he made a stop in Toronto, CA. Some cool insight is dropped on what he loves to do as a DJ as well as his take on some Adidas kicks. Great to see any footage from this dude (II).

Adidas Originals first US TV ad…

The German athletic apparel giant is giving its lifestyle brand, Originals, its first U.S. TV advertising ever: A 30-second spot featuring music stars like Katy Perry, DMC (of Run-DMC) and Method Man cavorting with sports phenoms David Beckham and Kevin Garnett.

The ad, breaking this week via Sid Lee, Montreal, shows the star-studded group at a party decked out in adidas Originals shoes, shirts, jeans and jackets. There are no spoken words in the ad, which runs as long as 120 seconds, though the TV versions run in 30— and 60-second versions. Instead, there are impressionistic shots of the celebs entering the party, dancing, smiling, painting and falling down, all as a remix of the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ “Beggin’” (by DJ Pilooski) plays.

If I don’t hear this song everytime I go out to a club, I am going to become a DJ. And i am happy to hear that adidas has finally decided to show up to the advertising party. Welcome, Good first commercial, Download link after the cut.
