RIP Heavy D (Nov. 8, 2011)

I am really messed up by his passing. Heavy D inspired a whole generation with dance moves, his “didddly- dee”, and knack for making music that wide-spreading. Even my parents knew who he was. It was his line “Don’t be down with anybody, let them all be down with you” that defined my adolescence and many years after that. Prayers go to his daughter, friends, and family. Pete Rock must be devastated right now. If you are in the Bay, I am going all 90s hip-hop and R&B at Nappy Bees this weekend in honor of the Hevster.

Spencer Pratt shouldn’t even be allowed to rap at all, let alone call himself “The Great White”. I’ve thought he was stupid for a while now, but good Lord…just give us a break already!Report this comment as spam or abuse
